Tuesday Update

Yesterday we went into Puerto Vallarta. Mike bought me a rose for Valentines and we had supper just off the boardwalk watching the sun set. Mexico's buses and taxis are quite the experience. Before Puerto Vallarta, it was a day of sun at the beach with lots of cervesa's and banana mudslides. Today was a tour high into the mountains via a mule ride! Then to get back down we used 9 zip lines and repelled down 2-30 meter water falls. What an amazing experience!! Tomorrows tour is Whale Watching! Apparently they swim towards the boat and right at the last second they dive just missing the boat. It should be fun!!

This one Joanne seen! Today we went into Puerto Vallarta on a city tour. We walked around the city, learning a little on the history of the area. Then it was on to learn about tequila and (here we go again) free samples! Oh yeah!! The bus ride back to the resort was very quite as most people were napping! Apparently tequila will do that to you! Not me! I was ready to get the party started. But one does not start a party on bus where people are trying to sleep off their tequila!! I'll try again tomorrow as were going into town with a couple from Sylvan for Valentines Seafood Supper!

An hour in!

An hour in and were well on our way! I haven't even been to our room!! Joanne tipped the guy at the lobby to upgrade our room and she's says it's amazing! Time will tell!!

Well we have made to Calgary. We just finished supper and have checked into our hotel. I hope my truck will be fine for the week!! 3 am is gonna come soon so…

Well here it is Sunday morning, 4 days before we leave. Time has begun to slow down like it always does before a holiday! The more I look outside the slower it seems to go!

Wow...time is flying by!

Here we are with under 2 weeks to go now! Excitement? Oh yeah!! Joanne has starting tanning. She's looking for the perfect base for the rest of the year! Can't blame her for that now can we?

It's less than 3 weeks now!

As the day draws nearer we get more and more excited! We keep looking at the holiday as the price goes up and up! Good buy Joanne! It looks like the plane will full. And why not? Winter has been long enough! Time to have a break...relax....and have some beers on the beach....oh and don't forget the scenery! Hurry up February 11! We need to leave!

We booked our holiday...

Riu Jalisco here we come!! Last night we booked our holiday, for this winter!! We tried something a little different this time. We booked through Itravel2000! It was the best deal that we could find for a 5 star on the west side of Mexico. We are so pumped to leave this snow filled winter and head somewhere warm and sunny!!
